EVENING VOLUNTEERS
Daily, Monday - Sunday, for three hours, 7pm - 10pm the opportunity exists to provide interaction and oversight as a lead or support volunteer. The lead volunteer position consists of manning the desk, distribution of non-CII medication, securing the facilities for curfews, overseeing the evening meal and evening activities, and general interaction with the guests. SPECIAL PROJECTS & SERVICES
From time-to-time there are many projects that need to be done around the Shelter. We rely on volunteers to help with maintenance and upkeep of the Shelter. Painting, window washing, carpet cleaning and grounds work are just some of the projects that are routine. We also do mailings throughout the year. In addition, some people provide services to the guests at the Shelter. Different services are particularly helpful to guests who are looking for employment or when a guest finds housing they often have very little to start out with. If you wish to volunteer or provide services please give us a call at 802.862.9879.
